This is the mannequin that was featured in my "Headache Machine" animation. To get the correct motions for the pushrods, and their contact rollers, and to get the precise shapes for the cams, I had to work backwards. I started out with just the mammequin doing the jumping. Then I attached the pushrods to him to see how his movements affect them and the three contact rollers to which the pushrods are attached. Then I carefully sculpted the cams according to how the rollers move up and down.
